Nik Emmonds
Head of Events
Nik Emmonds is responsible for the Events side of the business, managing a team to deliver high quality consumer events, while leading on all elements of the planning and delivery. He is also responsible for new business generation and concept creation.
Nik manages the delivery and customer relationships on events including Cycle Live Nottingham, Sunrise City 5K Series, Notts 20, Rushcliffe 10K, Dawn or Dusk, European Archery Championships, Archery GB National Series Finals, The Milk Race, The Victoria Trophy, Run in the Dark, University of Nottingham Life Cycle and the Mansfield 10K. His event portfolio also includes Pedal for Scotland, Brooks HellRunner, Perkins Great Eastern Run and Virtual Runner.
He specialises in creating new event concepts and brands and bringing them to market with strong identities and USP’s.
He graduated from the University of Derby with a First Class Honours degree in Media Writing and Theatre Studies. He played representative rugby to a high level and captained Nottingham Rugby Club as a junior whilst also competing as a 100 metre sprinter for Notts AC.
He lives with his long term partner and has a young daughter. As a glutton for punishment, Nik is also a keen Newcastle United supporter.
