Perfect Motion team set for a busy autumn event season

The Perfect Motion team have already enjoyed a busy and successful summer of events and office moves so far in 2016, and there is no slowing down just because the kids are back at school and the leaves are browning. With six events before the clocks go back in October the action kicked off this weekend, and the agency are excited to see what the autumn event season brings.

Saturday 17th September saw the Perfect Motion team proudly deliver the National Paralympic Festival in Nottingham’s Old Market Square working in association with Nottingham City Council and Avant Garde. It is the second year running the team have celebrated the achievements of our Paralympians, and this year saw swathes of people from the general public trying their hand at some of the sports.

This weekend the action will move to the Formal Gardens in Wollaton Park for the Archery GB National Series Finals where Perfect Motion will be delivering the free to attend event. Saturday 24th September will see the top eight Compound and top eight Recurve archers in the country competing for the title, and members of the public are welcome to try their hand at archery at the have-a-go area.

The turn of the month will be extremely busy, with the team delivering two festivals in the city centre on Saturday October 1st.

Nottingham Independent’s Festival will see five stages at Chapel Bar, Hockley, Middle Pavement, King Street and Pelham Street showcasing incredible talent and independent businesses from Nottingham. From musicians and Disney princesses to bubbleologists and Caribbean dancers, the city will be alive with action. Local businesses will be getting involved in various ways, with some being present on the stages and some offering entertainment and discounts in store.

Nottingham Canal Festival will see the area around Castle Wharf turn into a hive of activity for a second year. Last year over 3,000 people attended the inaugural festival to go on a boat trip, try their hand at angling or canoeing or just to take in the atmosphere. This year the public can expect the same exciting atmosphere, as well as being able to enjoy craft stalls, live entertainment and an interactive mural.

The rest of October will see Perfect Motion working on various events around the country. The team will be off to Peterborough to help with the delivery of the Perkins Great Eastern run on the 9th, swiftly followed by Brooks HellRunner Hell Up North in Delamere Forest, Cheshire on the 16th.

When they are in the office the team are working diligently on plans for events later in the year and well into 2017, including Cycle Live Nottingham which will return to Victoria Embankment next June.
