Tour of Britain
We were engaged by Nottinghamshire County Council to promote the Tour of Britain stage in Nottinghamshire to the local communities and to encourage them to come out and show their support as the ride passed through.
This involved communication with all of the districts and parishes on the route, working with the local councils to engage businesses, schools and community groups.
Towns and villages were encouraged to showcase themselves to the watching world by decorating their locality with cycling themed displays, with the best being entered into a competition.
The results spoke for themselves with the numbers of people watching the Nottinghamshire stage being the highest numbers of all the stages on the 2018 event, with 250,000 people estimated to have participated.
